Full-Day Supervised Learning & CAPS Curriculum Support!

At Bright Young Minds Academy, we provide a fully supported homeschooling environment for learners in Grades 1–12. Our programme is designed for families who want the flexibility of homeschooling without the isolation, stress, or lack of structure that often comes with learning at home. 

• Daily supervised learning in small classes (maximum 12 learners), ensuring individual attention, accountability, and consistent progress
   
• Qualified, caring tutors on site who actively support learners during lessons, explain difficult concepts, and provide one-on-one guidance where needed
   
• Support for CAPS-aligned curricula, including IMPAQ, Cambrilearn, and Think Digital Academy
   
• A safe, structured learning space with reliable high-speed internet, printing facilities, and full technical support included
   
• Daily lesson schedule management, ensuring learners log in on time, attend all lessons, and follow a structured school day
   
• Comprehensive academic support, including help with homework, daily tasks, assignments, and long-term projects
   
• Marking and checking of classwork and homework, with guidance on corrections and continuous monitoring of learner progress
   
• Exam and test preparation, including revision support, exam techniques, and structured preparation sessions
   
• Professional invigilation by qualified SACAI invigilators for tests and examinations
   
• Speech preparation and presentation practice, helping learners build confidence in oral work
   
• Reading support, including prepared reading, fluency, and comprehension development
   
• Extra lessons in weak subjects, offered where additional support is needed
   
• Technical support, including assistance with logging in, uploading tasks and tests, navigating platforms, and resolving technical issues
   
• Monitoring of deadlines, ensuring projects, assignments, and tests are completed and uploaded on time
   
• Study skills and note-taking guidance to help learners become organised, independent, and confident students
   
• Social interaction and peer engagement in a supportive environment that promotes confidence and a sense of belonging
   
• Extended centre hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) to support working parents

When you enrol your child before 20 January 2026, we will assess them in Afrikaans, English, and Math to identify the subject where they need the most support. Your child will then receive extra remedial lessons in that subject, free of charge, from January until the end of November 2026 — a value of over R12,000! This ensures your child gets personalised support exactly where it’s needed most.

All students from Grade 4 to 9 who enrol with us will also receive our world-class Study Skills Course free of charge, valued at R1,250. This course teaches essential skills such as time management, effective note-taking, goal setting, and exam strategies, equipping students with the tools they need to study smarter and perform better across all subjects. Combined with our personalised remedial support, it ensures every child is set up for success from the start of the year.
