What is remedial tuition?
Remedial tuition is a way to help students who are having trouble keeping up in school. It focuses on areas where a child is struggling and provides extra support to help them understand the basics and catch up with their classmates. This can involve going over key concepts, breaking down difficult topics, and giving more practice. The goal is to fill in learning gaps, build confidence, and help students succeed academically by giving them the attention they need.

Why is the scholastic assessment important?
Afrikaans, English & Mathematics Assessment
We believe that every child’s learning journey is unique. That’s why the first step in our enrolment process is a free scholastic assessment. This assessment helps us understand your child’s current level, strengths, and areas that need improvement, ensuring we place them in a program tailored to their specific needs. Many children struggle in school because they have gaps in foundational concepts. Our assessment allows a targeted learning plan that builds confidence and real progress.
Our online assessment is a structured evaluation where we identify your child's strengths and learning gaps using interactive exercises. A parent must be present, as we begin with a brief discussion and provide immediate feedback with our recommendations after the assessment.
Our in-person assessment at our Centre in Denlee is a comprehensive evaluation where we identify your child's strengths and learning gaps through structured activities. A parent must be present for a brief discussion before and after the assessment to receive immediate feedback and recommendations.
We assess only Afrikaans, English, and Mathematics. For all other subjects, lessons can begin without the need for an initial assessment.
